Michelle Phillips, a Prosper ISD Instructional Technology Specialist, has been named as a finalist for the TCEA (Texas Computer Education Association) Instructional Technology Specialist of the Year Award.

TCEA’s Annual Educator Awards recognize excellence in the integration of technology in schools. These awards, also known as Golden Apples, have been bestowed upon some of the most innovative and engaging educators in Texas.

The Instructional Technology Specialist of the Year Award recognizes exemplary personnel who work with one or more campuses in technology planning and curriculum integration. This award was created to recognize the significant contribution these individuals make toward the successful use of technology on their campuses.

Awards are presented at a formal awards ceremony and reception in Austin on Feb. 2 during TCEA’s Annual Convention & Exhibition.
