The Business and Commerce Political Action Committee, the political arm of the Texas Association of Business, has endorsed Scott Sanford’s campaign for the Texas House of Representatives. “We know that Scott’s business background will be an asset in the Texas House,” said Bill Hammond, President and CEO of the Texas Association of Business.  “I know that Scott is ready to make the tough votes needed to keep the business climate in Texas strong and the envy of the nation.”

“I am honored to have the support of the state and local business community”, said Sanford. “Frivolous spending and government regulation are detrimental to public policy and economic development. I support the consolidation or elimination of state regulatory agencies in favor of economy and efficiency.” Sanford believes that eliminating taxes and fees on small businesses will promote new business and jump-start hiring.
