Five Prosper families took the Prosper Press along with them for 12 nights in Costa Rica where the Dual Language students had immersion experiences, including hiking the Arenal volcano (pictured), a river safari, viewing the canopy from hanging bridges, seeing how chocolate is made and other real-world memories in the making. Using bilingual naturist guides, they enjoyed local food, impromptu soccer games in the park with local children, rainforest and cloud forest adventures (along with a wide variety of animals and insects) and exploring yet another climate environment of the Pacific ocean side to help fully immerse themselves in various climates, cultures, and extend their Spanish skills learned from Prosper ISD’s Dual Language teachers. Pura Vida!
