Every year, Primrose Montessori School located in Prosper off La Cima Boulevard holds a fundraiser to raise and then donate money to a local charity. This year students have created artwork which was auctioned off to parents and members of the community, and the funds raised from that art sale was donated to Childrens Advocacy Center of Collin County (CACCC.)
CACCC’s Crystal Cortes came to the campus to receive the $1,500 check and thank the staff and faculty at the school. Every Primrose campus throughout the nation performs yearly fundraisers where 50 percent of the proceeds go towards the Primrose Institution overall and the other half is donated towards a local charity. CACCC was chosen by Primrose of Prosper because of the work they do with children who have been put in difficult and challenging situations. This year’s fundraiser ended in a success, and next year could break records.
